Derbyshire County Council's Library and Information Centres are open to everyone who lives, works or studies in Derbyshire it also welcome visitors from outside the county.

They offer books, audio books, CDs, videos, DVDs and console games for loan, and access to community information, newspapers and a wealth of local studies material.

There is free internet access at every library, and they all have a videophone link. There services cater for all ages, from older people to children and babies, as well as those in residential care, and housebound and disabled people.  They also offer home or mobile services.
