Ripley Murals

Ripley Murals

We continue to work with the Blend Youth Project who were creating a mural for the old Ashley Adams shop on Grosvenor Road but with the letting of this shop, plans had to be rapidly changed. Discussions began with the management of The Original Factory Shop to see if we could mount the murals on the side of their building, facing the library. The shop manager is very community focused and thought it was an excellent idea.  The mural really brightens up the walkway and attracted the local press and radio to interview the children involved.

In the early summer of 2011 the Blend Youth Project created two further murals to display.
