Consumer Direct is a telephone and online consumer advice service, which is supported by local authorities in the East Midlands and by the Department of Trade and Industry.


Consumer Direct provides clear, practical advice to help consumers sort out problems and disagreements with suppliers of goods or services. From overcharging, dodgy workmanship and faulty goods to recording dishonest traders and scams.
