Candidates running for top police role in Derbyshire.

The Candidates standing in November's election of a Police and Crime Commissioner for the Derbyshire Police Area have been announced.   They had until 12 noon on Friday 19 October to be nominated to run in the election, which will take place on Thursday, 15 November 2012. 

Four Candidates are standing for election. The official Statement of Persons Nominated will be displayed on public notice boards and on Council web sites, including www.ambervalley.gov.uk

Information about the Candidates will be available from the same date at www.choosemypcc.org.uk.  To receive information about the candidates by post call 0800 1 070708 

The candidates and their parties, standing for election on Thursday 15 November 2012 in the Derbyshire Police Force Area can be accessed in the Statement of Persons Nominated.

Derbyshire voters will be able to look up their local polling station on a new polling station lookup facility at www.ambervalley.gov.uk
