Amber Valley Borough Council’s Community Sport and Wellbeing Team has launched a new sports club support programme called Amber Valley Clubs Connected.
Clubs Connected provides Amber Valley sports clubs with access to a wide range of support and information. It’s free of charge and easy to sign up via a short registration form. Furthermore, the first 20 clubs to sign up to Clubs Connected will be entered into a prize draw to receive a £250 grant to support their club.
Other benefits of registering with this new tool for sports clubs include priority access to coach education workshops, support with accessing the Sport England Club Matters tool as well as funding support from both the Council’s Community Sport and Wellbeing team and Amber Valley Community and Voluntary Service (CVS).
Cllr David Taylor, Cabinet Member for Housing and Public Health stated:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for sports clubs in Amber Valley to get further support in developing and growing. Not only does Amber Valley Clubs Connected offer a wide range of support for clubs but it makes accessing it simple and easy.”
