Walkers step out for charity

A celebration of Amber Valley Borough Council’s ‘Walking for Health’ scheme not only provided a great opportunity for a walk in the winter sun, but also raised funds for charity at the same time.

A group of 56 took part in the ‘Get Together Walk’ which included a stop for refreshments at Shipley Garden Centre.

A total of £85.44 was raised by the walkers, for Macmillan Cancer Support.
