Built In Quality Award

23 November 2006

Amber Valley Borough Council and Peveril Homes have won an East Midlands Built In Quality Award.

Managed by Local Authority Building Control (LABC), the regional awards scheme recognises forward-looking and innovative construction projects. The Council and Peveril Homes were successful in the ‘Best Partnership with a Main Contractor’ category.

Councillor Jack Brown, Chairman of the Council’s Planning Board, said: “Our building control team has worked successfully with Peveril Homes for many years. The company is confident of our knowledge of building regulations and our understanding of its needs.“

Amber Valley Borough Council’s building control staff raise revenue by providing a commercial advice service to building owners, developers, architects and contractors across the country.

The East Midlands Built In Quality Awards are open to building owners, architects, contractors and council building control surveyors.
