A free exhibition of movie memorabilia is set to go on display at Amber Valley Borough Council’s Tourist Information Centre in Ripley.
Among the exhibits are more then 200 signed photos and autograph cards featuring film actors such as Gene Kelly, Bob Hope, Doris Day, Elizabeth Taylor, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet and Kirsten Dunst.
Other exhibits include life masks of Vincent Price and Alfred Hitchcock and replica movies props such as the necklace from Titanic and Harry Potter wands.
The exhibition is being staged by Tony Redden and his son Anthony, who are members of the Universal Autograph Collectors Club (UACC). The pair will be on hand during the exhibition to answer questions from members of the public.
The exhibition will be on display between Monday 4 December to Friday 15 December.
The Tourist Information Centre is situated in the town hall on Ripley Market Place. The centre is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9.30am and 5.30pm, on Wednesdays between 10am and 5.30pm and on Saturdays between 9.30am and 3pm.
