Business Engagement event in Ripley

The Ripley Town Centre Forum is being re-launched as a business engagement network. Following a restructure of Amber Valley Borough Council’s Regeneration Unit the Council are able to offer new support to businesses in Ripley by facilitating engagement meetings. The overarching objective of the network will be to increase the competitiveness of businesses by promoting best practice and joint working.

Regular meetings will provide free business advice and opportunities for networking with other local business. The meetings will continue to be chaired by Martyn Dudley.

All businesses in Ripley are welcome to the next meeting on Tuesday 12th June, starting at 5:45pm at Ripley All Saints Church. At this meeting a presentation will be given by Derbyshire Action on Smoking to show how the forthcoming smoke-free legislation will affect your business. There will also be opportunity to meet your local Business Link advisor and discuss future business advice sessions.
