Did you know that during the last financial year Amber Valley Borough Council helped voluntary and community groups across the Borough attract £334,335 of funding for community projects?
If your group, club or association requires funding for a community project then the Council should be one of your key contacts when carrying out your research.
Wendy Burridge, Funding Officer at Amber Valley Borough Council said “We can provide the support that could make the difference between hope and reality for a project. As well as advice and guidance about specific funding opportunities, we can carry out searches to identify suitable funding opportunities for your project and provide assistance with the preparation of funding applications.
“You stand a far better chance of successfully securing funding if you take advice early on in your planning. We would encourage any local groups or organisations looking for funding to give us a call and find out how we can help.”
If your organisation wishes to take up this opportunity and is in need of external finance to complete a project you should contact the Funding Officer, Wendy Burridge, at the Borough Council on 01773 841493.
