Belper residents are being invited to have their say about events taking place in the River Gardens.
Staff from the Landscape Services team at Amber Valley Borough Council are carrying out a consultation exercise in Belper to gather feedback on events held in the park.
They will be in Morrisons on Friday 12th October and in the town centre on Saturday 13th October between 10.00am and 2.00pm, where they will be inviting people to take part in a tick box survey. The survey will only take approximately three minutes.
Councillor Jack Brown MBE, Cabinet Member for Clean and Green at Amber Valley Borough Council, said “In recent months the River Gardens have played host to a variety of events and entertainment, including walking tours, concerts and of course, the Last Night of the Proms celebrations. While these have all proved extremely popular, it’s important that we gather and listen to the views of local residents to ensure that we continue to provide the type of events that people will attend and enjoy. The survey will only take three minutes, and all the feedback we receive will be instrumental in helping us firm up plans for future events taking place in the Gardens. We hope as many people as possible take the opportunity to get involved and have their say!”
Ends.
