This, and further information regarding refuse collections and recycling, is available on the collection calendar that has been delivered to all households within the borough. If anyone hasn’t yet received a calendar they should contact us on 01773 841326. Information is also available on the Council’s website www.ambervalley.gov.uk (under the ‘Waste Collection’ section).
People are also asked to use their recycling boxes and blue bag for as much of their recyclable waste as possible. Anyone with extra recycling can put the materials out in separate carrier bags on their recycling collection day (please do not use bin liners). However we are only able to collect one orange bag of cardboard per household.
All residents will have the option, on this occasion only, to put out two bags of side waste with their wheeled bin on the first refuse collection after Christmas. If their refuse is collected by bag, we will take up to six bags.
For more information about refuse collections over the Christmas holiday please contact our Refuse and Recycling Helpline on 01773 841326.
Ends.
