Information regarding the Cinderhill planning application

Amber Valley Borough Council has given formal notice about the information it has received in respect of the proposed development at the Cinderhill Opencast Site, Derby Road, Denby.

Members of the public may inspect:

(a) the application;
(b) the plans;
(c) the environmental statement; and
(d) additional information, including the further information submitted with the environmental statement

at Amber Valley Borough Council, Borough Development Department Help Desk, Council Offices, Town Hall, Market Place, Ripley during office opening hours until 11 January 2008. The information referred to above can also be viewed on the Council’s website at www.ambervalley.gov.uk Details of the Council’s office opening hours are also available on the website.

Members of the public may obtain copies of all documentation relating to the further information submitted with the environmental statement free of charge from the above address for so long as stocks last.

Anyone who wishes to make representations should write to the Director of Borough Development at Amber Valley Borough Council, PO Box 18, Town Hall, Market Place, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3SZ before 11 January 2008.

A meeting of the Council’s Planning Board to consider the environmental statement and determine the planning application is scheduled to meet at Town Hall, Ripley at 6.00pm on 14 January 2008. Papers for the meeting will be available from 7 January 2008. Representations made after that date but prior to 11th January 2008 will be provided to the Planning Board.
