Invitation to network with other businesses

15 January 2008

Business people in Amber Valley are invited to attend the next Amber Valley Business Club Networking Meeting.

These free meetings provide a structured, supportive environment in which business people in Belper, Alfreton, Ripley, and Heanor can get together to network, share good practice and promote their services.

Stephen Hayes, Deputy Leader of Amber Valley Borough Council and Cabinet Member for Regeneration said: “Amber Valley Borough Council established the Business Club as a way to support local businesses and help them become more effective and successful. Our networking meetings have proved very popular in the past, and provide a great opportunity for those working in business to meet like-minded people, share ideas, promote their products and services to others and make valuable new business contacts.”

The next meeting takes place on Wednesday 23 January 2008 at Belper Town Football Club from 6.30pm onwards. The guest speaker for this meeting is Nigel Vardy, who will be talking on the subject of leadership and management. A light buffet and beverages will be provided.
