One lucky kinetika gym member at Alfreton Leisure Centre has been rewarded for encouraging his friends to join the gym and participate in more exercise.
Lee Hillyer won the Refer a Friend competition in December and was given a Land Rover Mountain Bike, worth over £200, which was donated by local business man Danny Millin of Cyclamania, Alfreton.
Karen Morden, Fitness Development Manager at Alfreton Leisure Centre explained: “Coming to kinetika gym is more fun and sociable when you’re with a friend; you can motivate and encourage each other. We actively encourage our members to refer their friends to become members as we believe it will help them to participate in exercise more frequently and for longer.”
Lee is a relatively new member, having only joined kinetika himself in September. But he was keen to encourage his friends to join as part of our December competition.
