Local artist Betty Norton is holding an exhibition of her work at the Tourist Information Centre, Town Hall, Ripley from Tuesday 10 June until Thursday 26 June 2008. Entry to the exhibition is free of charge.
Betty enjoys working in a variety of media, however this exhibition will consist mainly of her watercolour paintings of local scenes. Betty has recently taken part in Derbyshire Open Arts 08, a countywide event that gives the general public access to artists’ studios and homes to enable them to meet the artist and view their work.
