Temporary Event Notice issued for Red White and Blue Festival

15 July 2008

A Temporary Event Notice has been issued to provide licensable activities, i.e. the sale of alcohol and the provision of regulated entertainment, at the Red, White and Blue Festival on land at The Bungalow, Codnor Denby Lane, Derbyshire from the 15th to the 17th August 2008.

The Notice will enable the organisers to provide the licensable activities at the event subject to certain conditions, namely that a maximum of 499 people attend the event and that the event does not last more than 96 consecutive hours.

Only the police are able to object to the Temporary Event Notice on the grounds of crime and disorder. Any objections must be submitted to Amber Valley Borough Council no later than 48 hours after receipt of the Notice. If we do receive any objections from the police we will then hold a hearing of the Licensing Board within seven days.

Ends.
