LOOKING FOR HELP WITH NEW MARKET CAFE
Alfreton Indoor Market will soon be even more attractive to local shoppers, with a new café planned that will offer hot and cold food to eat in or take away.
Amber Valley Borough Council will be providing the new facility and is now looking for someone to run it.
A kitchen / food preparation area is being created and this will be equipped with cooker, oven and fridge. There will also be an adjacent seating area and the café will be open to the public throughout the indoor market trading hours, which are 9am to 4.30pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The Council now wants to hear from enthusiastic individuals, or groups, who may be interested in running the new café. Anyone wanting more information about this business opportunity should apply in writing in the first instance to Chris Beal, Landscape Officer, Landscape Services, Amber Valley Borough Council, Town Hall, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3SZ giving details of their experience and a short appraisal of how they see the business operating.
The market also has vacant stalls available for new traders, either existing traders wishing to expand, or someone wanting to start up a new business. Opportunities exist for both food based and non food based outlets with stalls available on all trading days.
Ends.
