Grants for charities

Description of service

The Council receives many applications for financial assistance from charities each year.

Each application is considered on it's merit and grants are awarded to organisations whose activities benefit the residents of Amber Valley Borough Council.

Because of the limited resources available, we cannot guarantee to meet every grant request and charities should not assume continued funding from the Council.

Application are invited from beneficiaries of grants in the previous year, and for new applicants, the application form can be loaded down as a PDF file.

Applications are usually invited in April of each year with payments being made in July, following approval by Cabinet.
