Nature Reserves
Derbyshire County Council manages a number of nature reserves, four of which are sites of Special Scientific Interest and eight of which are Local Nature Reserves. Most of the Nature Reserves have public access. We liaise with the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust which has more than 40 nature reserves.
