What is 1app ?
1APP is a new National Standard Planning Application form and will be in use by every local authority in England by 6 April 2008. In advance of this legal obligation, Amber Valley has started to use the new forms. Further information is available at www.planningportal.gov.uk/1app
The new forms.
We encourage you to submit your application online through the planning portal, this site checks your forms as you fill them in and allows you to check the correct fee, attach plans and produce a Ordnance Survey plan. This all helps you in submitting a valid application to the council.
However, you will still be able to submit your application on paper if you wish ? The new forms can be obtained from the planning reception at our offices, or contacting our adminstration team by telephone 01773 841571 or email development"ambervalley.gov.uk.
Fees.
The planning fees can be calculated using our table of fees or by using the fee calculator on the planning portal . If you are unsure please contact our administration team as above.
Application Checklists
A planning application checklist (listed below) is required with every planning application submitted to the council and will still need to be attached to your application if you submit onlne.
