Dog Identichipping

Identichipping is an ideal way of identifying your dog should you lose him. A disc can fall off, but an identichip is a permanent means of identification. Once chipped - its there for life. All our wardens carry scanners.

Identichipping is a small implant injected into the neck of your dog. It is quite painless and very quick.

Each chip has its own personalised number that is linked to a central register containing the owners contact details in addition to details of the dog.

Should your dog be picked up by the Dog Warden, they will scan it for a chip. If chipped the warden can contact the central register and obtain your details. Your dog can then be returned directly to you before incurring costly detention and kennelling fees.

We offer a service to chip your dog in your own home at a cost of £17.63.

We recommend that dogs are 12 weeks old before being identichipped.

If you would like to make an appointment you can contact the Dog Warden Hotline on 01773 841335.
