The Belper and Milford Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) commissioned the study after the building was left vacant following the school’s move to a new site on Bargate Road. Both Amber Valley Borough Council and Derbyshire County Council will consider the final report so that a joint decision on the future of the building can be made based on the findings of the study.
