The Derbyshire Unemployed Workers' Centre - the main office is situated at Alfreton House on the High Street, Alfreton. The opening times are Wednesday and Thursday between 9.00 am and 12 Noon and between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm. The telephone number for this office is 01773 832237. The telephone number for the main office in Chesterfield is 01246 231441.
Outreach offices are also run at the Salcare building in Heanor on Friday between 8.30 am and 12.30 pm and in the Parish Hall, Nottingham Road Somercotes on Tuesday between 1.30 pm and 4.00 pm.
The Derbyshire Unemployed Workers' Centre do provide home visits for the sick and disabled throughout the area.
Citizens Advice Bureau - the CAB service have an online service that provides independent advice on your rights and on the benefits that you can claim.
