Access for disabled people

Description of service

This information is aimed at improving access to the built environments and related services throughout the Amber Valley area. While this information is likely to be of particular use to disabled people it will also have associated benefits for all people living, working and playing in the Borough.

Amber Valley Borough Council is working towards the development of a fully inclusive environment where the rights, needs and wishes of all disabled people are considered central to the decision making process. The council is working in association with the Amber Valley Access Group to achieve these goals.
