Live and Local - surprising shows in surprising places
This county wide scheme brings professional touring music and drama shows to village halls and community centres throughout the borough. Local voluntary promoters choose the shows that local people want to see and then publicise, promote and organise the shows themselves.
Costs to the community are kept low by Lottery Funding and Local Authority contributions and the promoters contributions can be recouped from ticket sales
