The Amber Valley Active Sports Awards are a great way of recognising and celebrating sporting achievements in the local area. 2008 is the third year of the Awards, with 70 nominations being received for the 16 Categories.
This years Sports Awards evening will take place on Friday 17th October at Belper Leisure Centre, with BBC Radio Derby's Ross Fletcher confirmed as the guest presenter for the evening. All short listed nominees have been invited to the Awards Evening to receive their award. All other nominees have received a certificate in recognition of their nomination.
