Consultation Panel Recruitment

Amber Valley Consultation Panel was set up in 2001 as a way to keep the Council and its partners, including Derbyshire County Council (DCC) and Derbyshire Police, informed about public opinion of the services we provide and to ask what issues are important to them. The Panel is made up of 1000 people from across Amber Valley who regularly share their views and ideas on a wide range of issues. We give Members regular feedback on what actions have been taken as a result of their views in a newsletter, the Amber Voice, that is sent out with every questionnaire.

A Consultation Panel is a representative sample of residents who have agreed to regularly take part in consultation either by filling in questionnaires or taking part in focus groups or workshops.

You can apply to join the panel by completing the online form below or by telephoning 01773 841653.
