Volunteers needed to establish Park Run!

Park Runs are springing up throughout the country and are a popular way for people to exercise and enjoy some beautiful countryside. We want Amber Valley to have its very own Park Run, but we need a few volunteers to help make it happen.

Whether walking or jogging, Park Runs are a great way for people to meet and blow away a few cobwebs and knowing that you are part of making these a real success can be very rewarding. It doesn’t matter if you can’t commit to coming along every week – the more people who can help with the organisation or be a steward on the day; the more flexible we can be in terms of the commitment we need.

The Wellbeing team at Amber Valley Borough Council are giving our full support to this project and we would love to hear from you if you think you could help in any way or know someone who might be able to.
