Asset management plan consultation

The importance of effective asset management is widely recognised within successful organisations. Depending on how effectively they are managed and utilised, building and land assets can either contribute to or hinder the achievement of goals and the financial wellbeing of an organisation. The efficient use of both building and land assets is therefore rightly recognised as being crucial to the successful delivery of services to Amber Valley residents and to the long term financial sustainability of the council.

Amber Valley Borough Council’s asset management plan 2019-2024 establishes policies for how the council will in future manage both its building and land assets and details decision-making processes, including for the rationalisation of assets that are surplus to requirements.

We are carrying out a consultation on our asset management plan. Residents are invited to make comments on our plan by emailing simon.gladwin@ambervalley.gov.uk. Comments can be made up until 1st March 2019.
