The Council do not offer a service to treat for Woodlice

Advice to Customers

  • Control of woodlice in a room may be achieved by cleaning as they do not breed indoors.
  • Improve proofing by sealing potential entry points from outside.
  • To help prevent invasion from the garden, rubbish and other potential refuges should be removed.
  • An insect spray may also be used.
  • Woodlice feed on decaying timber.
  • If possible locate and remove the source of infestation.

Self-Treatment Advice

  • Purchase flying insect spray.
