  • Road - it is easy to reach many of the major business centres in the UK from Amber Valley by road. The A38 provides a direct connection to the M1 at Junction 28, and Junction 26 can be accessed via the A610.
  • Rail - Amber Valley has railway stations located at Alfreton, Ambergate, Belper, Duffield, Langley Mill, and Whatstandwell. Journeys from each of these stations to the main business centres in the UK can easily be planned using the East Midlands Railway travel planner at www.eastmidlandsrailway.co.uk or using the Trainline at www.thetrainline.com.
  • Air - Amber Valley is well served by three international airports, East Midlands Airport, Birmingham International Airport and Robin Hood Airport (Doncaster Sheffield). East Midlands Airport offers over 100 leisure and business destinations and is the UK’s primary pure freight airport. East Midlands Airport is home to leading air freight operators DHL, TNT and UPS and are a major air hub for the Royal Mail. Birmingham International Airport has the highest proportion of business travel, second only to Heathrow. Robin Hood Airport opened in April 2005 and handles charter, scheduled, long haul, freight, general and business aviation internationally.
