In January 2021, the borough council commissioned consultants BE Group to undertake an updated employment land review for Amber Valley.
The purpose of commissioning the review was to establish an up to date evidence base in relation to employment land in the borough, in order to inform the preparation of appropriate policies and proposals in the new Amber Valley Borough Local Plan, which will reflect national policy requirements as set out in section 6 of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF).
