Amber Valley do not charge disabled blue badge holders to park, however when parking they must adhere to the regulations relating to the car parks i.e: short stay - (check signage for more details) - must be parked in a marked bay not necessarily a disabled bay.
Derbyshire County Council administers the blue badge scheme (formerly orange badge scheme) on behalf of and in line with the Department for Transports' regulations. Application forms for a blue badge can be obtained by contacting Derbyshire County Council.
