Opening hours - We will be closing to the public at 12noon on Wednesday 24 December 2025, and will reopen at 9am on Friday 2 January 2026.

Homelessness support - Emergency homelessness support is available by ringing 0808 1692 333.
Bin collections - Over Christmas and New Year, our crews will be adjusting their schedules to ensure all collections are made during this busy time. View amended dates on our Christmas collections page.
Free parking - The free parking offer runs from Friday 12 December through to and including Friday 26 December, in all the borough council’s pay-and-display car parks. Free parking begins at 1pm each day and ends at midnight on 26 December 2025. Please note that all other parking rules, such as those for disabled bays and maximum stays, will still apply.
