We've been made aware of scam phone calls from someone claiming to be an officer from Amber Valley Borough Council.
The scam callers are contacting people from mobile phone numbers and asking them to make payments for services such as business rates or licensing fees. As this appears to be an ongoing scam, it could relate to other council services too.
