Following the recent flooding across the Derwent Valley in February 2022, the Derbyshire Floods Business Hardship Fund has been opened to support small or micro businesses, whose premises were flooded to apply for an emergency payment of £500 to help them cope with immediate and short-term loss of income. Please apply for the flood hardship fund as soon as possible and include the evidence required.
We advise all flooded businesses, including larger companies, that you also inform the Amber Valley business rates section that you have been affected by emailing nndr@ambervalley.gov.uk or telephone 01773 841444.
Residents affected by flooding are invited to apply for a property hardship support payment where homes have been flooded or damaged by flood water. The grants are currently live, and we advise applicants to submit their claim immediately.
