Quarndon Neighbourhood Plan Referendum

The question asked in the referendum was:

'Do you want Amber Valley Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Quarndon to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?'

Votes were counted and declared on the evening of Thursday 27 June after the close of poll, results as follows:

The number of ballot papers rejected were as follows:

(a) no official mark - 0
(b) voting for both answers to the question - 0
(c) writing or mark by which voter could be identified - 0
(d) unmarked or void for uncertainty - 0
(e) rejected in part - 0

Total - 308

The total electorate was 820 and the number of votes recorded represented 37.6% of this.
