The Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP) supports the Amber Valley Borough Local Plan. It forms part of the evidence base and has informed the preparation of the Local Plan.
There will be significant levels of growth in terms of housing and other
development and it is essential that the Borough Council and its partners can
deliver the services and facilities necessary to achieve timely, sustainable
and effective infrastructure.
The IDP sets out the transport, physical, social and green infrastructure that is likely to be required to support the Borough’s future growth up to 2040. It takes into
account information provided by the relevant infrastructure providers
operating in the Borough.
The IDP Appendices provide the background and context for the various types of infrastructure required in the Borough, alongside some initial infrastructure requirements that have been identified previously. As set out in the IDP (para 6.4) some of the indicative contributions highlighted are not to be seen as an exhaustive list and associated estimates are dated. If and when relevant planning applications are submitted, additional and up to date detailed responses from technical consultees and infrastructure service providers will be taken into account.
