Notice of Delay in Publication of the Audited Financial Statements for 2022/23

Regulation 10 of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 require the audit of the 2022/23 accounts to be concluded by the 30 September 2023, the council is required to publish a notice of the delay where this cannot be achieved.

The council hereby gives notice of the delay in the publication of the Audited Financial Statements for 2022/23. The reasons for the delay are as a result of the External Auditor (Mazars) needing to clear the backlog of audit work from previous years which has impacted on the timely delivery of the 2022/23 audit.
