For details of what we can and cannot deal with and how we will investigate, please read the pages in the Pollution section of this website before completing this request form. Once submitted, your details will be sent to our environment unit, alternatively please call us on 01773 841335 during office hours. Please note that the council does not operate an out-of-hours response service to such complaints.
Your complaint will be allocated to an officer who will contact you, usually within five working days of you making your complaint. If there is anything the environment unit can do to help, the officer will advise you how they will investigate your complaint. If we are unable to help you, we will try to advise you of other council Units or external organisations who may be able to help. Please note that the council does not operate an out-of-hours response service to such complaints and, because of the laws we act under, anonymous complaints cannot usually be accepted.
