There are currently severe delays for container delivery due to supply issues, the council apologises for the disruption to the service and is working hard to catch up on deliveries as soon as possible.
There is a fee of £90 to provide refuse and recycling bins to newly built properties and any existing properties that do not have any bins .
If you are moving or have moved into a new build property or an existing property and don't appear to have any bins please follow the advice below:
Most homes have two standard sized 240-litre wheelie bins and a glass bag:
The charge for both of these bins and a glass bag is £90.
Please complete our online payment form if you are ready to order your new bins. This online form will take you through the process of checking if your property has been registered and applying for bins.
Our contractor will usually deliver bins within 10 working days of your moving-in date. Refuse waste will be collected in bags until bins are delivered, please present bags on your normal collection day. Recycling will only be collected after bins have been delivered so, please store any recycling until you have your bins.
